At Fairfax Global Academy, we firmly believe that extracurricular activities play a crucial role in students' overall development. All FGA students are encouraged to find and participate in activities outside of their classes, such as cultural activities, sports, competitions, part-time employment, and volunteer activities.
Volunteer Opportunities at Fairfax Global Academy
Students have a wide variety of after-school club activities to choose from and participate in. Everyone is encouraged to get involved with at least one group each semester.

Students can apply to serve as volunteer tutors at FGA. Once accepted, student tutors are matched with other students who are in need of extra support in their academic subjects.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity is a non-governmental, nonprofit organization that builds houses for people in need around the world. With the help of donations and volunteers, Habitat has built or repaired over 600,000 houses worldwide.
Every summer, Fairfax Global Academy takes a group of students to El Salvador to help build a house for a low-income family. Join Dr. Lee, our headmaster, next summer on his 11th annual trip and experience what it means to give to the community. This is a great opportunity to help the world, meet new friends, and boost your college application!
