Students must have Internet connectivity and have access to the Internet daily. Students must also locate their technology for class use in the home in a quiet environment. An area that is free of distraction, ambient noise, and will be of comfort for a lengthy assignments or homework is a best practice for learning.
Courses may contain links to outside websites, and while every effort is made to maintain these links, we cannot guarantee that users following links from within a course will not encounter sites hosting malware or viruses. We strongly recommend all users install malware/virus protection from a reputable vendor, and make sure that the definitions are updated regularly to prevent infection.
Students can view lesson content, submit course assignments and fully participate in most courses on mobile devices, including iPads, iPhones, and Android devices. Phones are not recommended by our program as they offer little space for students to read, respond, and interact with students in a genuine manner. Portable devices such as these are used only as emergency alternatives.
